The Magnum agency is a place of pilgrimage for photography enthusiasts. Founded after World War II by four photographers including Henri Cartier-Bresson, the Magnum co-operative has been at the forefront of photojournalism and photography ever since.
You’ll go behind the steel door at its discreet Paris address for an intimate tour of the agency’s past and present. You’ll talk to one of the agency’s managers and see its editors at work, view its stunning photo gallery, and see the solemn “cold storage” room where historic negatives from Cartier-Bresson and other luminaries are kept. This is a unique opportunity to discover work by historic greats like Robert Capa, Eve Arnold and René Burri as well as images by today’s best shooters.
We truly enjoyed our Secret Journey with you at Magnum. What an extraordinary experience to see the archives, hear the stories from Robert & Enrico, and view some incredible, iconic photos. Plus the opportunity to ask questions and dive deeper into the history of Magnum and the photographer collective gave us greater understanding of their work and contributions. A terrific morning!

My recent tour of Magnum was great fun and very enlightening. To experience the inner workings of the renowned Magnum was amazing. Especially enjoyable was the conversation with the tour staff afterwards. I recommend this to any photography buff.
