Born in Cambridge, Claire grew up with a love of art and the French language. Studying art history in Aix-en-Provence inspired her passion for artists such as Cezanne, Renoir and Matisse, who captured so well the dazzling light of the Mediterranean. After graduating she moved to Paris, where she fell in love with its museums and cultural history.

Claire particularly enjoys inspiring children and teenagers with the stories of her favorite places – the Orsay, Louvre and Orangerie museums, where her art history heroes live on.
